Give a misscall and become part of BJP

Nearly a year after securing a resounding victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s innovative ‘Missed Call Campaign’ continues to be recognized as one of the most effective voter outreach initiatives in recent political history.

Launched on May 31, 2023, the campaign invited citizens to give a missed call to 9090902024 — a symbolic number representing the nine years of the Modi government and its vision for the 2024 elections. The initiative helped the BJP connect with millions of supporters across India in a simple, tech-driven manner.

This unique engagement tool was part of the larger ‘Mahasampark Abhiyan’, a month-long national outreach program flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Ajmer, Rajasthan. The campaign covered over 600 districts with 51 mega rallies, 500+ public meetings, and widespread media interactions.

The BJP’s focused efforts on constituencies it lost in the 2019 elections proved successful. Organized into strategic clusters, over 288 MPs and senior leaders led extensive on-ground campaigns. More than 16 lakh karyakartas (party workers) participated in door-to-door campaigns and public interactions, bringing the government's achievements directly to the people.

As the party now shifts focus towards governance and delivering on its fresh mandate, the missed call campaign stands as a shining example of how technology and grassroots strategy can go hand-in-hand in modern democracy.
